Great location and quieter than city center. Staff are very responsive and courteous.

The music from the weddings every night was so loud that the whole cottage shook and vibrated. My wife started having palpitations and on our last night we went to the Lobby @ 10 pm. The night manager was kind enough to give us a room in the main tower

Filthy outdated rooms

The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The location was nice, there are a lot of restaurants near the hotel. It is close to the city. The staffs were friendly and very helpful.

The internet connection wasn't that great.

Poor hygiene… gross .. the bed sheet bed wasn’t cleaned … washroom was cracked and moulded I cancelled one room but they didn’t refund … the front desk was rude and didn’t cooperate at all .

I was promised a deluxe room with a lake view, but ended up in a room where the windows were blacked out and couldn't be opened. It felt like a dungeon. And the lady receptionist (the late afternoon of march 3rd) told me all such rooms were like that to block out the sun

The toilets did not flush, the drains were clogged, no lights in the room -just some of the issues with the stay. The cottages were old and dilapidated. They need updating . The restaurant was mediocre . I would not recommend this hotel.

Everything was old and dusty

It was a very pretty setting and convenient for the event we were attending which was being held at the Windsor Castle.

The accommodation was badly in need of refurbishment. The kettle in one room was broken/rusty so the lid fell off when trying to use it. The coffee in the sachets was no longer granules, but a solid sticky lump. There was broken furniture with nails sticking out and the ceiling fan was hanging off the ceiling. The sockets and switches were dirty and one socket was hanging off the wall near the bed. The booking was for two villas with three adults in each but on arrival there was no third bed in either. We asked for extra beds to be provided in each villa and they arrived quickly but were only child-sized camp beds so not very comfortable for our adult son and nephew. The outdoor bathrooms were fine but could have been cleaner - a dirty towel from a previous occupant was found in one of our bathrooms and in the other the light didn’t work properly, constantly flickering on and off. Initially only two towels were provided in each villa and although a third towel was brought in with the spare beds, no extra cups/glasses/water bottles were provided. The air con in one of the villas was leaking so we had to move the bed away from the wall to avoid getting a wet bed. The listing said free WiFi was included but in our villas there was no connection - we had to stand on the path outside our front door to get any service at all and if we needed to use it for any length of time, the only way was to walk across to the main building and sit in reception. The restaurant was ok but food and drink items regularly ran out and were not refilled until we asked for this.

Nice location, lovely garden and external ambience.

The villa roof was leaking after heavy rains. It was difficult to lock the front door.

Position was lovely outside by the lake

The chalet was very rundown woodworm falling on the ground and chairs and dirty and dusty shame because it could’ve been really nice needs decorating and upgrading There was loud noise from the bar opposite at night and also early hours in the morning We only stayed one night that was enough moved out the next day

The location is brilliant, but a lot of modifications need to be done

The facilities in the room were lacking as I found black spots between the tiles everywhere. The towels were old and overused. The management needs to do a thorough deep clean, and if the tiles in the bathroom need to be replaced, they must change them.

Nice outdoor area, good food at the restaurant.

There was a Lizard in the room just above the air conditioner, also few mosquitoes. The shelves in the cupboard were not clean.While checking out, the guy at the reception told me that I need to pay only for two nights as I checked in late. After paying the amount and while I was traveling in car, got a message that I need to pay for the 3rd night tooas it was an online booking. It was such a hassle that I had to spend extra 3 dollars to pay that from my overseas account as transaction fees.The painting on bathroom doors near the floor also looks like its poorly done and lacks a professional touch.

Stay was good the Villa comes up with a beautiful river view food taste was good as well

Breakfast spread was very limited and when I ask for dosa it was straight away denied by stating it would be on chargeable basis

Location.

1) Staff were not properly trained. One of the many examples: I asked for the pool timings. Person said it is open 24 hours. I asked him to check as that was surprising and then he said it is open from 9 am to 5 pm. I again checked at the reception and they said it is open from 8 am to 7 pm. I landed at the pool in the morning at 8 and and no one was there and towels were not kept out. 2) Very poorly maintained facilities. Very dilapidated despite it being a fantastic location.3) Rooms were not cleaned properly at check in. 4) Food was very poor. Idly felt like rubber. Again serving staff were not trained,,flexible or customer friendly. Eg: At the breakfast buffet I requested the waiter to make a ghee roast. He said that they only make plain dosa. I asked for the chef and requested him and it was done.5) The staff and management don’t seem interested in customer feedback. I requested the reception staff to have the manager meet me so that I could give feedback directly instead of writing it here. They agreed but they never made the arrangement.

The parking..

The hotel needs a total makeover. It hasn't been maintained. The toilets were very dirty. You wouldn't even touch the towels. Once upon a time the towels were white..& today they have turned grey‼️

The cottage they offered to me is fantastic and the staff also very courteous and helpful. There might be a short delay for the room service, and I cannot blame them as they are catering from kitchen which is not near the cottage.

The location and the plot are good.

The plan and distribution needs a rethink and presently does not make use of the location and plot well. The facility does need a renovation.
